The Second Game of the Legend Series
Game Two of the Legend Series was played yesterday. The Marlins took the first game, but we fell short in the second, losing 0-7 to the Yankees. Adam came in to pitch the fifth inning. But this time, it didn't go his way. He faced household names like Soriano and Jeter, and though he struggled, Adam gained valuable experience facing the caliber hitters he'll have to get out for a living someday. In one inning, Adam gave up 4 hits, one walk, and 4 runs. Certainly not his best outing, but he'll use it as a tool to learn from, most definitely.
(The photo above shows a screen-shot of my phone, which is how I watched the game!)
Nolan Ryan. Randy Johnson. Mariano Rivera.
Adam's favorite ball players of all time.
Yesterday, Adam was honored and humbled to meet the well-respected and long-time Yankee closer: Mariano Rivera.
What an incredible opportunity and blessing.
