The 2014 Grapefruit Opener
The Grapefruit League season opener couldn't be enjoyed in full without some chocolate Dippin Dots to celebrate with! Big Leauge Spring Training games officially started yesterday. Fifteen Major League teams make up what's called the Grapefruit League and they'll be playing each other from now until March 28th.
The Marlins opened their season against the St. Louis Cardinals at home…even though we were the away team :) Perks of sharing the facility with another organization! More "home" games for us! It was a sea of red at Roger Dean, but black proved victorious in the end!
