The 2014 Spring Training Debut
Baseball season is upon us. Officially.
Yesterday, the Marlins opened their 2014 Spring Training season with an exhibition game against the University of Miami, and in the seventh inning, Adam made his first appearance of the year. It was a good start. He threw one inning, facing four hitters, walking one and striking out three. Wahoo! And while we could definitely do without the walk (hehe), Adam was encouraged by the progress he's made on his slider. His arm feels great. His body feels strong. And his mind…well, he's Adam and that should say enough! Let's do this, Honey!
Adam throws again on Sunday, March 2nd in Port St. Lucie at 1:05 PM. He'll pitch just one inning in relief (whatever that means…and trust us, we don't know what that means…) and then again probably on Wednesday or Thursday. I hope y'all are ready for some BASEBALL!
