Day Five Hundred and Fifty-One

The Messy Man

Look familiar? I'll bet it does. Because Day 515 looked exactly the same...except for one thing: there's no pink size 8.5 women's shoes in the picture. Why, you may ask? Oh, I don't know. Maybe because my chronic closet amnesia has been cured! Clearly, Adam's still suffering though. I struggled through the door yesterday, wondering why it was so hard to open. ADAM! So...

I did what any good wife would do.
I tried teaching him a lesson.
I picked up all those shoes and literally threw them in the closet, hoping that when he went to get dressed, this colossal barrier would stop him. Well, it didn't. And the shoes are still sitting there now, 36 hours later.
I think I deserve the right to start a heated marital fight...right?! ;)

Right. I definitely deserve it!
Because right after I walked out of the closet, this scene was staring me in the face.
Notice anything wrong with this picture? Let me explain.
After using the restroom yesterday, I noticed that the toilet paper was out...the cardboard roll was just sitting there unchanged. So...I changed it. And then I looked up, and sure enough, Adam had already started another roll, without replacing the old one, and set it on the counter like that's where it belonged! WHAT?! What is going on with my sweet man?! He's getting messy! NOOOOOO!! It must be spring training. Because he's normally way cleaner. And just because I love him so much, I'm more than happy and completely willing to follow him around like a little vacuum. It's the least I can do for my workin' man.

And while I was at my women's Bible study last night, Adam bought some wings, invited some guys over, and watched Team USA take on The Dominican Republic in the World Baseball Classic :)
