Day Five Hundred and Twenty-Three

The Hibachi Valentine

So, Adam calls me over after taking the iron out before our Valentine's dinner date. He said, "Honey, I don't know what happened. It just broke." Hmmm...how does this happen? Needless to say, it was quite the task to iron my dress! Has this ever happened to you?

Hibachi!! Adam and I LOVE hibachi, and on a day that's supposed to be all about love, it felt like just the place to go.

And though our chef spoiled us with an extra special Valentine's show, all eyes were on Adam when he successfully threw an egg not only once, but FOUR times! Hey! I know that guy! ;) And he's such a stud. So lucky to call him my Valentine.

I've been waiting for February 14th for a month now...ever since the day I started Paleo. Haha :) I've stuck to the diet pretty darn close (minus the creamer in my morning coffee), but last night, I threw the diet out the window and went for my filet mignon cooked in buttery goodness. Oh, and a glass of Reisling. Mmmm. Actually, now that I think about it...last night's meal wasn't that far from Paleo. But my tummy still protested. I can't imagine what I would have felt like if we'd gone to Italian!

Me and my most handsome date! I'm so in love with this man. He's everything I could have pictured in a best friend and husband, and every day, I'm thankful that he's mine. And it doesn't hurt that he knows a good Valentine's present when he sees it! My new heels and necklace were quite the surprises!
(And...my heart broach!! I've been waiting to wear it! Grama gave it to me a little while back and I was just so excited to finally pin it on! It was the most wonderful addition to my perfect outfit!)
