Day Five Hundred and Twenty-Eight

The Best Place to Live

I love volunteering for Mrs. Gerber's class!

Her 3rd grade students are such a joy to be around. And hanging with Channing all day doesn't hurt either!

Our orthopedic's office is better than yours! Holy smokes.

Patiently waiting to be seen by doc.

He looked at my x-rays, twisted my arm, rubbed my shoulder, and told me that nothing's torn, broken, or pulled. Thank goodness. He did say that I have a strained rotator cuff and that I should chill out for a bit until my shoulder completely heals itself. You got it, Dr. Burdett.

And topping off a day of goodness, the Husband and I went to a local high school baseball game (as if I don't get enough baseball as it is! Haha). I know it's a terrible picture, but I only had one chance, and this is how it turned out. Boo. The catcher in this photo is the son of the Marlins rehab coordinator, who, as a junior, already has a scholarship to play at the University of Florida. The hitter in this photo is the son of the Marlins head athletic trainer, who is also a catcher and has offers to several schools too! How are you supposed to pick who to cheer for?!

We absolutely love being apart of this community and living in this town. The rehab coordinator said it best last night, "Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods could live anywhere in the world...and they chose to live here." Amen to that! :)
