The Fish For Life
It was maybe one of the sweetest moments in “baseball life” I can recall. Adam has found himself a man within the Marlins organization who loves God with a freshness and zeal that is just so contagious. Him and Adam spend much of their time at the field together, pouring over Biblical truths and encouraging one another onward in their faith as they pursue this game with hands open wide. And I am so thankful. What a treasure it is for Adam to have such a likeminded, passionate Believer next to him in that locker room! God is good! As if we deserved more, Mr. Brian’s wife, “Mrs. Shell” (her name is Michelle haha!), loves the Lord, is traveling this baseball life with her husband, and last night, they both came to spend the evening with us! We shared supper, stories, testimonies, and even our nighttime routine with our new friends and truly, just enjoyed fellowship alongside mature, faithful Believers. The kindness of God is more than an understatement - I am filled with gratitude.
