The Alsos

A few things from yesterday:

We turned our heater on. 

I SAID IT!

MAYBE happens once a year. 

The 39 degree morning necessitated it and the 55 degree high confirmed it. My home is a popsicle at anything under 72 degrees.

Also:

My baby is walking. 

It was brought to my attention that I haven’t made that ABSOLUTELY clear. But, she’s definitely walking. Like, real person walking. Took her first steps sometime last month (when she was 10 months old) and hasn’t slowed down, not once. 

Also, she climbs. 

Also, she’s excessively adorable. 



And finally - I’m far behind on documenting this most interesting and fail proof phenomenon:

Wherever you go, there they will be also. 

Just give it, oh, 28 seconds. 

They’ll find you. 

Even if you’re quietly minding your own business, just blow drying your hair for five seconds. Oh, they’ll find you alright. Every last one of them. And then, they’ll stay until you’re done. Never fails. Ever.
