The Red Surprise
While Daddy and Bubba were out at a baseball camp yesterday morning, the girls and I finished up our Christmas shopping. And we maybe got lost in Target again and did a little more than just Christmas shop. The Target curse is real.
Bubba and Daddy had an incredible time. Truly. Adam was asked to help coach alongside one current MLB player and several former MLB players, as well as local coaches in our town. What he thought would be just another typical baseball camp was so much more than that and he was joyfully surprised to hear quite a few of the current and former players speak to the young athletes about their professed faith in Christ. It was unexpected but such an encouraging time for him. Bearett too. Our boy came home absolutely lit up in the face and SO excited to tell me all he’s learned. Once he took a breath, I loved him up and sent him off to clean his wreck of a room. The show goes on!
