The True True Life
Let’s start off with a little bit of True Life: Where’s My Phone?

I can guarantee you that on average, I lose my phone 4 times a day. Zero exaggeration. Yesterday, I drove with it right there on the bumper of my car over 3 miles and only found it after Adam used the Find My Phone app when I arrived home.
So to clarify: if I don’t reply to a call or text in over a day (or two), you can absolutely assume I have forgotten. Because clearly and very honestly, I have an entire household of humans to care for and as is quite obvious, my phone takes the backseat. Or ground. Or trunk. Or toilet. Or couch. Or purse.

So it goes without saying that parenting is a great and worthy task. And sometimes, that calls for an unexpected and unplanned nap on your two year old daughter’s pink princess bed.

But then it’s right back up and at it.
And as most days have been around here, it was one thing after the other. Including testing out Daddy’s new one-person tent that he’ll take on hunting trips soon!

At least we have a super adorable Conley Christmas countdown sign to eat from! Thanks Mrs. Angela!
