The Best Thursday
We officially have a new baby friend! And the kids are ALL about her...much like they are about Molly. But this one is smaller and still is at the stage where laying there is all she can really muster. I may or may not have gotten the question, “Can we have another baby, Mom?”
Uhm. No. Thanks though. Love you.
Then it was back in the living room for school again. Sometimes we play too much in the morning and have to do school when the girls nap. We’re fine with that, but usually, that’s Molly’s second nap too, so Dada steps in and helps Mama until Molly passes out enough to put her down. Whatever it takes, right?! Adam: master hat-wearer <3
And finally, we wrapped up yesterday with a whole bunch of segregated kids: boys beating up each other in the boys room and girls playing with babies in the girls room. That is, until the birthday cake was revealed and then, well, just about 30 kids of all different ages, sizes, and shapes were and all over everywhere singing birthday wishes to their precious little friend.
Happy birthday to our favorite 1-year-old, Penelope!!! We love you so much!!! And truly, we are so grateful for the parents you have, who love you the way they do. What a sweet gift the Lord has given you in them.
