The Favorite Weekend
I didn’t have time during the events to take pictures of anything, but as for the takedown, my phone finally made an appearance. This entire past weekend was just so incredibly sweet, much needed and so, so full. Friday and Saturday, our church hosted its annual marriage conference and truly, I think it might be my favorite weekend of the year. To have two days separated out and prayed for specifically in pursuit of strengthening marriages - I don’t think you can ask for a more fruitful labor. There is nothing on this created earth that I love more than my marriage, and so to have a weekend spent in God’s word and with His people striving toward the building up of our marriage and those around us...I am so thankful. Truly, what a blessing it continues to be in our lives as members of CBC. The Lord has given us favor beyond measure by directing our path directly here.
The second event was Veterans Day supper - an annual dinner our church hosts in honor of all those who served this great country, providing each of us with a confidence in our security and freedom. We eat together, we learn together, we sing together, thank each other together, and at the end, we clean it all up together. While the kids make carts into strollers and nearly crash into babies, that is!
