The Oly Farewell
EXHAUSTED from lots of fun at the Great Wolf Lodge, we said farewell to our two-day getaway and headed to Grandma Katy’s.
There, the girls slept, the boy did school, and the Dada finished packing up the car and house.
And finally, we said BYE BYE to Olympia and ADIOS to Grandma Katy’s home!
It was a big day for her. Not only did she close a huge chapter in her life, but she did so on her birthday, just to make it a bit more memorable!

We continued the party up until bedtime.
And when everyone was finally asleep, Dad snuck some cupcakes into the bathroom and had himself a second party.
GIVE ME ALL THE CUPCAKES NOW!
(Ok truth, I ate a bathroom cupcake too. Well, half. Sometimes, the only peace and quiet you’ll find in a day is in the bathroom at midnight. Might as well have yourself a cupcake and eat it too.)
