The Permanent Smiles
DADDYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!
The smiles just won’t stop!

Even at the ENT, the smiles were still there. With our Dada’s presence, we can do anything and even smile through it. Bubba got some bad news yesterday. His tonsils are sizes 3 and 4 on a scale of 0-4, 4 being the worst. His adenoids are also extremely enlarged and to top it off, he has fluid behind his ears. So, he can’t hear and he can’t swallow well. Our guy has grinded down teeth, snores all night, sweats like crazy, stops breathing in the middle of the night, and once he finally gets to sleep, he’s like a real life bear trying to wake up from hibernation. All that to say, we’ve got a huge choice ahead and it’s looking more and more like Bub’s going to have surgery to remove his tonsils and adenoids, as well as getting his second set of tubes put into his ears. I’m super bummed about it - I hate to consider the pain he’s going to be in - but long term, he’s hopefully going to be a whole lot better off. Just breaks my heart I can’t do anything else to help him.

And just like Mama is losing sleep over the thought of putting my son in the hands of another, Molly is likewise losing sleep...we’re just not confident it’s for the same reasons. Here she is, in all her glory, at 1AM last night. Juuuuuuust hanging out. Totally disobeying every normal bedtime she’s ever known. And completely loving life. Goodness, kid. Good thing you’re insanely adorable. Welcome home, Dad.
