The Day Dorian Stayed Away
Sisters who sleep together, sleep the same way together AND sleep in late together.

But our friend Penelope June says “WAKE UP LADIES!” And so, we wake up and we hang out with our friends and smile about it becuase it’s really special to have such incredible people to wake up to.

About 70 miles from this spot, a category 5 hurricane was devastating the Bahamas, stalling for hours, and then only moving ONE mile per hour when it was actually moving. An incredibly heartbreaking situation. Here however, all was mostly calm.

And so, Mr. Bryan took the five big kids out fishing.

He made their day. For sure. 100%.

Until, that is...

...the mommies made cookies and painted nails!

But then I think he won them over again for good with one of their favorite books, “The Priest with Dirty Clothes.”

Considering we’ve been stuck at home for parts of three straight days with a Category 5 hurricane taunting our coast, while all seven children makes themselves completely known and heard here, I’d say we’re doing pretty well. In fact, this time home has actually been a tremendous blessing to me. There’s something special about constant and continuous fellowship with likeminded and intentional Believers doing life literally alongside you. I’ve learned and grown rapidly over the past couple days and I’m just so thankful that this is what came out of the storm, especially considering the loss that’s been experienced by the people in the Bahamas. Continue praying for them. And send relief if you’re able.
