The Day Filled
We’re in the process of learning the ins and outs of catching a ball. It’s been a pretty good run so far and he’s made a lot of progress. Yesterday, he threw the ball in the air and caught it bare (Bear?) handed for the first time.

Thanks, Coach!
Daddy taught him all about the word “anticipation,” and how it relates to playing catch. Now Bearett walks around bouncing the ball and saying “Anticipate. Anticipate.”
We’ll take it.

We had three gifts to shop for yesterday, so a Target run was due. The place is a black hole for me. I think we were in the store over two hours - probably closer to 2.5. But hey, we got our gifts and I even found an old friend, Polly, in the process. Sorry for the news flash, but Polly Pocket - the original ones from the 90s - are far FAR better than these new ones.

After Target we had naps. After naps, we had Daddy shirts and lots of smiles.

“PUNCH HIM OUT PAPA BEAR!!!!”

Daddy didn’t play though. But he got to watch fireworks with us.

And THAT makes this Mana smile big.
