"Mommy, even though you bought me the coolest toilet seat on the planet - one that I'm obsessed with peeing on and just generally sitting on - I prefer to poop anywhere other than on my seat. Mostly because your reaction cracks me up and I like watching you and Daddy scurry around in desperation to clean me off! At least this time though, I didn't touch it! You're welcome!"

And oh! This child!
So sweet and curious and totally all boy. We sure love him. Yesterday was his best day to date. He spent much less time in timeout and thrived on obedience. We always tell him, "in our house, if you obey, you get whatever you want." Well, he wanted his toys and because of his willingness to obey the rules, that little boy had SO much fun learning and playing alongside Uncle Adam. There's constant progress here in the Conley home - on both ends - and life will be better because of it. We love you dearly, Bearett John. I hope through all the smiles and tears and giggles and fears that you know that one thing for sure.
And no, our "kids" hardly ever wear clothes, in case you were wondering.
