The Girls are Back!
Yesterday, we woke the sleeping beauty early to drive back to Miami for the week. While she didn't get her full 12 hours of beautyrest, she woke up chipper and ready to get back into the swing of baseball life.
It's almost been a month since our last attended baseball game, but the Fish girls were doing some community service events this homestand and we thought it would be nice to help out as well. We packed 600 bags of toiletry items for a local homeless shelter here in Miami yesterday. It was such a treat to be reunited with my girls and even sweeter to be serving the community alongside them.
And seeing Amelia back in the stands with her buddies - laughing, cheering, dancing, and snapping Snapchat photos - it just made my heart melt. We've watched A LOT of baseball on tv this past month, but there's nothing quite like watching it from the stands with your girlfriends. Glad to be back and excited for Adam to hopefully take the mound in the upcoming days.
