Day Seventeen Hundred and Seventy-Five

The Twentieth Start

Morning feels on the day of Adam's start!
Smiles all around!

And they never disappeared!
The last time Hunter had a cup of Dippin' Dots was when he was at a Jupiter Hammerheads game at 22 months old. Somehow, he remembered the treat and has been begging for it ever since arriving in Florida. Well, the day finally came and yesterday, he enjoyed every dot in that helmet! A deserving reward for such a good and waaaaaaaaay too smart little boy!

Mimi kept her smile all day too!

As did Parker when he wasn't sucking on carrot sticks!
When teething calls, you grab the coldest, hardest item in sight and thankfully, carrots to the rescue!

Hunter's first MLB game was a total blast!
He loved watching Uncle Adam and got to do so many super fun things that most kids his age wouldn't even imagine doing!

SO happy to be watching the game with these besties!

LOOK!
It's Uncle Adam on an elevator!!!

After the game, we got to go onto the field with Adam and take a photo!

Then we got to watch fireworks from the third base line!
A dream!

Then, Adam dogpile,

Hunter potato sack,

And a funny car ride after getting to go with Uncle Adam into the Marlins locker room!!!
What a fun night!

Now, it would've been made even sweeter had the Fish and Adam secured the win, but things didn't go that way for the Marlins and we ended up losing to the Mets in the first game of a three day series. Adam pitched well, especially considering that he felt as though he wasn't working with his "best stuff." But he found ways to get himself out of jams and gave the team a chance to stay within reach. He recorded another quality start, going six innings and giving up only two runs. He left the game with the score 0-2, but in the bottom of the sixth inning, the Fish scored two to tie it up. He was off the hook for the loss, but we ended up losing in the end, which gave him another No Decision.

His line:
6IP, 6H, 2R, 2ER, 1(intentional) BB, 3K
He's still 6-5 with a 3.58 ERA.
Adam will have 12, maybe 13 more starts this regular season and his next will come on Wednesday at  noon EST.
