Day Seventeen Hundred and Twenty-Eight

The Tired Pup

Bark at the Park 2016! This fun event called for a puppy parade and a handful of beautiful judges to pick the very best ones. Diesel - the Great Dane who stole my heart - easily won my vote!

30,000 humans and nearly 1,000 puppies at the park made yesterday especially exciting. And with a group of judges that look like this, Marlins Park really outdid itself! I'm enjoying the friendships I'm forming here and loving the hearts of these women to serve wherever needed.

Following the puppy parade, a small group of us met for Sunday fellowship and Bible study for the first half of the game. Amelia decided that she was done with the kids and nannies in the family room, so she cried her way in to accompanying us big girls in our study. She clearly made herself comfortable and indeed, stayed a while.

And from then on, everywhere she went, she made herself comfortable.

And I mean everywhere.

"Autograph for you. Autograph for you. For you and you and you. And one last one for you! Here's a high five too! Ok, I'm spent. Somebody grab me a water."

Like seriously?! I'm lucky I actually made off with a photo of this insanity because I couldn't stop laughing while she sat there!! Oh my heart! What a little personality!!!

After hours of travel, the three of us are laying in a bed together in Minneapolis. Adam pitches tomorrow against the club that drafted him out of high school - The Minnesota Twins.
