Day Seventeen Hundred and Thirty-Two

The "Are You Kiddin' Me?" Face

We flew on yet another plane yesterday. Number...somewhere around 60 probably! No big deal - she's 15 months, after all, and plenty old enough to be exploring this country's every nook and cranny. Such a good girl she is, but I'm thinking that the face she gave me in this photo yesterday was only a premonition of what was to come around dinner time because she was actually quite content on the plane.

But content is not the word I'd use for our dinner last night. We got into the hotel around 9PM and I wasn't in the mood to track down food without first showering...but I had nothing to change into since all our bags were with Adam (and he didn't get to the hotel until 3AM). SO, I ordered room service.  Because, what else?! Huge mistake. That tiny tray of sweet potato wedges and that small cup of tortilla soup (sour cream and a dip for the wedges included) cost me TWENTY-THREE DOLLARS. Somebody STOP the madness. Whhhhyyyyyy?! Seriously! Is this real life? Gah! At least we had trail mix and an avocado for a backup. Amelia, your face from the airplane is every bit a perfect explanation of how I was feeling at this point in the evening. But I guess, hey, at least we had food?
