The Fourth Zephyr Start
It's startling how much can change in a year.
Last Easter, Adam and I spent our morning at Family Church, praising the Risen King before spending the rest of the day driving to our fourth home in Jacksonville, Florida. Yesterday, we spent our morning at Vintage Church, celebrating the life we have in Christ before spending the rest of the day striking out hitters in Metairie, Louisiana.
If it's one thing I know for sure:
Our lives change all the time. But the unfailing love of Christ, that's the one thing that will never change.

If memory serves correctly, Adam proved that he despised day games last year. Look at his line and it'll prove that same sentiment too. Not good. Whelp, I'm happy to report that that ain't the case this year. A change that I'm rather fond of actually. And I'm certain he is too!
My Zephyr man went 7 strong innings in yesterday's 1PM game against Colorado Springs. He even almost got a hit. That's saying something. Unfortunately, their third baseman is evil and stole his would-be-hit on a diving catch and throw to first. Darnit guy. We coulda celebrated a whole lot more yesterday if it weren't for you!
Adam's mighty-fine line:
7IP, 1R, 0ER, 1BB, 8K on 81 pitches.
Nice.
Buuuuut, it woulda been nicer if his win column had increased. The Zephyrs lost 0-2. Poop.
This afforded me the smile that the loss took away though. Ha!
Happy Easter, Love!
And the Happiest Easter to these friends.
In three years, we've celebrated Easter in three different states.
But yesterday's was our fondest. For the first time in our marriage, it actually felt like we celebrated Christ's resurrection with family. Baseball family, but family nonetheless. Heart: full. Thank you, Jesus.
Kendall, that is a GREAT pic of our patio Easter dinner! Just wish you were in it!
