The Sled
Yesterday, I pulled 375 lbs on the sled. 200 lbs of dumbbell weight...175 lbs of Eric's (my trainer) weight! And for 15 yards. Holy quads on fire!
I've been training at a new gym for the past couple months. While I enjoyed Crossfit, my body was wearing down and I found myself more often than not, hurting. So, I finally decided to listen to my body (and my husband) and found Coastal Performance through Adam, who trained with them half this offseason with some other teammates. And wow! It's been an incredible change! My body has responded so well to their program. I feel better, I'm challenged daily, I have a workout tailored specifically to my strengths and weaknesses, and I've learned more about my body than ever before. Both Adam and I are grateful for Coastal and will miss them when we leave!
