The Valentine's Day Teaser

You know the saying, "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth?" Well, similarly, all I wanted for Valentine's Day was my Nordstrom Rack. I have my two front teeth. But no Rack. Sigh. Yesterday, the Palm Beach Outlets celebrated their grand opening, and it's all I've talked about since, well, since I found out a Nordstrom Rack was going in…like 6 months ago. It's my store. Oh, such a store! People down here only know of the Nordstrom - they've never heard of Nordstrom Rack - and drop like 3 grand a month there like it's just a normal thing. Ok, how 'bout no. No no no. Not even close. But The Rack! Wahoooo! Nice clothes. Cheap prices. That's what I'm talking about! Only problem though: the closest one to our house is 3 hours away. So Adam said that for Valentine's Day, he would take me to their grand opening and we'd have a look around. Turns out…all the other outlets opened…but not my store! Ah poop. They'll open their doors this fall instead. Such a tease! I pouted for like two seconds until I realized that the Yankee Candle Outlet was having a sale on their large candles: 10 bucks each. They're normally 35. Yeeeehaw! I got some candles, Adam got a new glove lacing tool (there's a Rawlings outlet here…1 of only 6 in the entire world), and we lived happily ever after. The end.

Ok wait, not the end yet.

Adam starts Spring Training tomorrow - Sunday, February 16 - and it came faster this year than ever! He's excited. I'm excited. And we'd just ask that you'd keep us in your prayers as we journey through this next season together.
