Day Five Hundred and Seventeen

The Food Truck Invasion and The Fifty-Thousandth View

Our street was taken over last night...completely.
These were the accomplices.

 And these were the culprits!
Food trucks! Everywhere. Over 30 meals on wheels lined our Town Center Drive last night, filling the streets with the tempting smells of everything delicious. Funnel cakes, dipped cones, BBQ, breads, pastas, french fries (well, anything fried), ice cream, burgers...and absolutely nothing Paleo in sight. Not even the fresh taco truck! Sigh. So, I ordered a small cup of pulled pork (with a tiny bit of BBQ sauce on the side). Not my cup of tea, per-say, but at least I didn't have to cook dinner!

We spent the night walking around our little street with these beauties! And yes! That's Bob! (And you haven't met Josh yet...he was on the Greensboro team with Adam last season) I introduced the two guys to Marshall and Erika...turns out that Erika and Bob grew up in the same part of North Carolina! Small world!

And this is more for my memory than anything else.
I've posted to Know Better Love every single day (517 days) since September 10, 2011 - the day Adam and I got married. In all those days, I've shared with Adam many highs, a few lows, and so many unforgettable memories (literally). This project was one I wasn't certain I'd be able to continue - it's a lot of work. But when I saw the fruits of my writing, I couldn't stop. These memories are for Adam and I to cherish forever. And more, they're for my family, my friends, Adam's family, his friends, and anyone else who's willing to read. I've been overwhelmed by the support of my readers, and yesterday, you helped me reach a goal of mine that I didn't even have when I started:
50,000 page views!
I write because it makes me happy. And I hope that in this, I've made a few of you happy too.
Thank you all for your support.
