Day Five Hundred and Eleven

The Talkers

Here's an image:
I'm laying in bed trying to write my blog while the man I married stands distractingly on the opposite side of the room spinning his revolver around his fingers, drinking a gatorade shake, dressed in his undies. He's dropped the gun twice now...and it wouldn't surprise me if in the next 5 minutes, I'm rushing him to the hospital with two broken toes. In his boxers. Adam, guns are for shooting. Not twirling them around your fingers like some old fake western. Oh the joys of living with my boy!

I love every single second I get to spend with Adam. It's turned out to be a lot of seconds this offseason and I feel so blessed to be able to spend so much with him. But yesterday, I took some of Adam's seconds and gave them to my girlfriends instead. 14,400 seconds, to be exact. We talked for FOUR hours. Four very necessary and refreshing hours. I learn so much each time I'm with them. Their Christian perspective as young wives in South Florida has helped me tremendously in both my marriage with Adam and my walk with the Lord. I'm so thankful for these women.

  1. You girls are all so precious and have brought a special blessing into my life. I love being around you and worshipping and fellowshipping with you. It is obvious you have a special bond together and with Jesus. That brings joy to my heart for each of you. Blessings
