Day Sixteen Hundred and Ninety-Two

The Kid Hates to Swing
(But at least she loves her cousins!)

Took Mimi and her cousins to the park yesterday.

Turns out the swing is like, the most wretched thing on the planet! But it was sorta hilarious watching her reaction, so I did what any good parent would do and took a photo of it. (I promise to never put you in a swing again, Meems. Or let you cry.)

We played and played and laughed and played.

Reunited and feeling so alive.

(I can't even take this picture seriously!!!)

Mimi is loving the weather (cousins too!) here in Washington and it looks quite good on her too. It's times like yesterday that make me miss my old home - the air is so crisp, the leaves are so pretty, and the sun warms your skin just the right amount. A light jacket is all you need, but most of the time, not even at all.

The grass is especially soft and the kids are, well, really cute here. The sky is so blue and the trees are so green. It's stunning.

And though we especially love Spokane in the early summertime, Mimi makes anywhere we go something extra special.

Thanks for being the best (and easily the most adorable) travel companion around!

We're here in Spokane for just one more day before heading back to Dada.

And while we bask in all the amazing things about the Northwest, we remember home in Florida and that makes us go like this:

Because Florida is the best too!

But it would definitely be the bestEST if Mimi's cousins lived there with us.
We miss them so much when we're gone, but it does make our reunions that much sweeter when we're here. Thank you family, for such a fun day yesterday. We love you and are so grateful that we're able to visit as often as we can.
