The Thirteenth Daddy Start

Another day, another start. 

Haha..it never fails, I'm telling you!!

However, the Conley Clan has accepted our Baseball Curse and decided that if we can't beat the Baseball gods...we'll just beat the other teams instead! And so, that's exactly what we do. Yesterday's 11 o'clock day game was a scorcher, but Adam got though it in quite the impressive outing. Aside the fact that he was frustrated with the feel of his changeup, Adam limited the Round Rock Express to just one hit in six innings. Not too shabby, Baby Daddy!

Speaking of Baby...

Another game, another nap.

This never fails either!

(Amelia, please always know that if you ever need or want a hand to hold, mine are always available, Sweetest Little Baby...even when you're old and gray...and when I'm older and gray-er. Hehe)

Adam exited the game in the sixth inning with a one-hit shutout. The Zephyrs ended up winning, so Daddy is now 7-2 with a 2.61 ERA. His line:

6IP, 1H, 0R, 4BB, 2K and the W.

In his last 7 games, Adam is 4-0 with a 1.69 ERA.

At the conclusion of the game, WGNO News interviewed Adam about his experience in AAA, his call up to Miami, the reason he plays baseball, and the birth of Amelia. Hopefully we'll be able to get the interview posted onto the blog in the days to come! (We don't have TV in our current apartment, so we missed it on TV last night, darnit!)
