Day Fifteen Hundred and Forty-Seven

The First Christmas Tree

We woke up early to a tired Daddy and an exhausted baby. And so, we laid low all day until two naps had been had and a few books had been read. You know, the good, rejuvenating stuff of life.

And then we squeezed a gigantic snowman's nose before...

...picking out our very first Conley Three Christmas tree!!!
An 8 foot Frasier Fir, pretty as can be!

Just like this snot-faced, vampire-toothed kid! And hey look, those front teeth are finally making their way in!
So she had a...curious time yesterday while tree shopping. She's not quite sure what it all means or why we brought it home and put it up into our house, but...

...she sure seemed to enjoy all the sparkles and circles (and hiding bears)!
It's beginning to feel a bit Christmas-y in this cozy house of ours. And I'm absolutely LOVING it. Goodness, it feels so good to be home.

(Especially when that means Daddy gets to start making our new dining room table and bench!!!!)
