The Sunshine State of Mind
My little Florida girl.
All ready for an afternoon with Dad at the pool.
We were car-less yet again yesterday, so we made the best of it in the sunshine. Well, in the sunshine, under Amelia's covered blow-up pool, that is. She's still yet to wear sunscreen, so we try our best to make sure she's somewhat covered if she has a lot of sun exposure!
Though we were car-less, Dad got home around noon (yay for away games that he doesn't have to go to!) and we played with our feet in the water while he scrubbed the pool (a super dad, that's for sure - always comes home, even after his long days at work and serves our family). This week, our plan is to convert our little chlorine oasis into a saltwater pool, which makes us SO excited to start swimming in it maybe in a month or so...when it warms up!
After a little more labor in the backyard - we cleaned up from Amelia's party AND trimmed our trees - we cooled off and relaxed with carrot sticks and Vikings.
And then, we did dishes.
I have the greatest helpers around.
