Day Sixteen Hundred and Fifty-Two

The Hoop

The highlight of my morning - other than Amelia's first sleepy wake-up smile - happens around 11AM when Amelia's ready for her first nap of the day. We cuddle big time. She has some milkie and then we sit like this until she falls asleep. I still love holding her and staring into her beautiful eyes. She's such a pretty, delicate girl. Lately, I've been transferring her to her crib for her naps when she's completely asleep (it only ends up working maybe half the time...the other half, she wakes up and cries and I'm back to square one of putting her to sleep), but yesterday, I let her sleep. Right on me. I needed my cuddles. And I think she did too.

Then, we woke up, and Daddy was home! And Carston came over. And we had a great ol time hitting balloons up into the air!

And when we were done with balloon giggles, Dad set up our new pool hoop in the house so the kiddies could get some practice in before having to shoot from the water! At first, Amelia used the hoop as a seat to her piano. She played some lovely music while Carston shot the basketball.

But then she decided that she wanted in on the action, and so the two of them played and played until his mommy came to get him! Love them together!!
