The Goose
Daddy got to wake up with us yesterday and it was our favorite thing! He's been gone so much, so our smiles were big.
And they stayed big mostly all day. We're selling our hot tub to give us more space to play.
We got it all ready to sell and waited patiently for the movers to come take it away. Still smiling.
Only, they never came to take it. Instead, a big ol lizard came to hang out.
And Amelia was even more excited about the lizard than she was about getting rid of the tub! She pointed at and laughed at it and tried to touch if.
So I let her touch it. Then I put her in the pool to rinse off.
And then the shower.
And our smiles just kept on coming.
Until she bashed her head into the bottom of the couch and wore a goose egg instead. I felt like the worst mom ever.
