The Baby's Second Easter
All Amelia's life, we'll spend it teaching her about the love of Christ and everything he accomplished on the cross. We'll teach her about His resurrection and why it's the cornerstone of our faith. That Christ defeated death, rendering us free from the confines of the grave. I look forward with joy to the day that she can wrap her little mind even in part around the sort of love that sent Jesus to the cross and pray fervently that she'd repent and believe wholeheartedly in the gospel truth of our Savior.
Until then, I'll continue finding joy in the cuddles she lavishes on me during church service. And though at times I'm tempted to put her in Sunday School, I'd rather her worship alongside us (which she loves), while watching her play quietly with her baby and new "church purse," made especially for her by Auntie Kim.
He's risen and He lives!
Amen and amen!
Happy Easter from half the Conley Clan!

We considered driving home from church and waiting for Dad to meet us there. He spent the day at the field and we really had little desire to bake in the hot, sticky sunshine that's melting South Florida currently. But because yesterday was such a special day, we donned our Marlins Best and drove to the field.
...so that together, we could enjoy part of Resurrection Sunday together as one...and in our Easter pink! And so, from the entire Conley clan:
Happy Easter!
It's our most favorite day of celebration!
My heart in a picture.
Thank you Jesus for exchanging your perfect life for mine.
Thank you Jesus for bearing the wrath of a just God.
For your sacrifice.
For your resurrection.
For the life you've given me and the family that surrounds me.
You are my everything.
Thank you Jesus for life everlasting.

Adam is scheduled to pitch tomorrow on the backfields of Roger Dean. He's been scratched from his previously-scheduled start against the Mets in Port St. Lucie and will instead throw in an intersquad game against our own players.
