Alone in Denver?
Not so.
In the midst of our emergency, Mommy was making her way toward us, as soon as she found out what was happening. Praise God for this woman! Daddy couldn't get to us before she could, and so yesterday, we spent a cozy day inside our precious cousin Heidi's home, recovering and resting for our 9PM flight to Washington - the elusive leg of our journey from the emotional day before.
Although it's been an incredibly difficult past couple days, Amelia and I are doing as good as we could be, considering. We're thankful for a Mommy who'll drop anything for her baby, a cousin who opened her heart and home, and a 2 hour completely uncomplicated flight to Spokane. We'll be in Washington for the next two weeks recovering and meeting our newest family member, Parker! He should be here any day and since I'm not allowed to pick up Amelia for two weeks, this is the perfect place for us to be with all the help around us!
