He's here, he's here!!! He's in Miami with us! The four roommates reunited once again...this time...
IN THE BIG LEAGUES!!!!!
Uncle Scott made his MLB debut last night. I cried when he told us the news. I teared up when he ran in.
What an absolutely incredible journey it's been. From roomates in AA to roommates on the DL to teammates in Miami, we are so grateful, so thankful, and so excited for the future. What a blessing! An answered prayer and a whole bunch of hard work, finally starting to come to fruition. God gave the both of them the talent to play and now He's given them the opportunity to shine for Him from the hill at the highest level.
I remember - vividly - the long days of last summer. Sitting on the DL, frustrated, anxious, but knowing there was a reason we were there. Together. We grew a lot living with Scott. The Lord brought us a friendship that'll stand the test of time. He brought us perspective, hope, and so much joy while the boys recovered from their injuries. It's crazy that that was only just one year ago. We've come so far and it's been one heck of a journey!! Congratulations, Scott! We love you and are beyond excited to watch how the Lord uses you for His kingdom. YAHOOOOOO!!!

Oh yes, of course. Amelia is teething, maybe? This is her newest and most bizarrely cutest face she's been making. It's been three days I've noticed her doing this. She's also been a bit whiny, a little snotty, and really tired. Am I on to something? Maybe it's 6-month growing pains? Oh my gosh, she's almost six months! Nooooo!!!
