Day Thirteen Hundred and Ninety-Eight

The Miami Start

What a crazy and totally exciting day yesterday was! 

Amelia and I were out shopping for some luggage at TJMaxx (all this traveling is getting on our nerves with only one rolling suitcase!), when my phone buzzed. Our conversation, verbatim:

"Spot start tomorrow Miami busy"

Wait, what? Do I need to book a flight???

"Yes"

Ok, are you flying there tonight?

"Right now"

And that was that! I actually don't even know how he was told by his manager this time - in between sudden changes of plans, packing, cleaning, booking flights, and flying until midnight...I sorta forgot. But, praise God for an other opportunity in Miami...and this time as the starting pitcher!

I don't know how we do it, but Amelia and I make for a pair of very good travel partners! She mostly just sits there while I do all the work, but at least she doesn't cry...and that's half the battle.

In fact, she mostly just smiles and sleeps! Our favorite girl is the sweetest travel blessing!!
