Day Fourteen Hundred and Eleven

The Seventeenth Daddy Start

Last night's game started so late (SEVEN O'CLOCK!!) that she was tired by the time we sat down in our seats to watch Dada throw another great game! So long, Conley Curse. We will outlast you, that's a promise!

Adam was strong through six innings in yesterday's win against the Memphis Cardinals. The Zephyrs stamped, stomped, and shut the door on a 10-game losing streak (hallelujah!), though with a bit of bad luck, Adam was not the winning pitcher of record.

But oh well...we're just pumped that someone in a Zephyrs uniform got the W! We sure needed it! Dad did do his part, and with his third hit of the season (yaaaaa Dad!), he helped their winning efforts. His changeup was sharp, his slider was sharp (except not quite sharp enough to rightys), and his fastball touched 95 a couple times too. Oh baby.

His (unlucky) line:
6IP, 8H, 4R, 4ER, 0BB (yaaaaaaaaay!), 7K, a single, a sac bunt, and a 2.58 ERA.
He's still 8-3 with 101 innings on the season and just 82 total hits!

Oh, and Amelia tried grabbing Mommy's drink last night.
She's her father's daughter, apparently. Doh!
(And just FYI, one beer every now and then helps with your milk supply. I swear!)
