Day Thirteen Hundred and Seventy-Two

The Curse

We woke up happy and smiley.
Finally, a cozy night's sleep in our bedroom - the three of us cuddled up all night.

Amelia and I slept until 11:30. A much needed slumber, to say the very least.
Dad left for the field around 10 and told us to stay home for the day and continue resting. He wasn't pitching. So, we didn't put up a fight. But then he called around noon and said that plans had changed - he'd be throwing out of the bullpen to get in some work because he hadn't thrown since his one inning on Wednesday.

Excitedly, we got ready and made it to the field...just in time for a rain delay. Of course. OF COURSE. If Adam's going to pitch, it's going to rain. You can count on that like clockwork.

Well, the delay turned worse and the game postponed. Just to spite me. And then of course, after the game was called, the rain disappeared. It's a fact: we are baseball cursed.

But we are baby blessed, so my complaints stop there.

I'M OBSESSED WITH YOUR FACE!

And legs!

And chubbo thighs!

Such a polite and sweet Little.
You are so completely easy to love, Amelia!

One good thing about the cancelled game: more hang out time with Daddy before he leaves for the road on Monday!
