Day Thirteen Hundred and Five

The Super Soakers

A picture of my soaked-through t-shirt maybe isn't an appropriate photo of the day. Maybe it is - I haven't decided yet. In any case, I bought these cotton reusable pads because the disposable ones make me feel like I'm wearing diapers in my shirt. LOVE breastfeeding, HATE the pads. But yesterday, when the entire front of my shirt looked like...well, you get the picture...I was suddenly regretting my decision while sitting in the Ford waiting room.

Ford waiting room, you ask?
Moving 101: When you pack a cooler to travel with for over 3 days, be SURE to wrap your meat in plastic. Otherwise, when the meat thaws and the ice melts, a bloody, watery mess results. And if your cooler happens to be styrofoam, make sure it doesn't have a leak in it...otherwise the entire backseat carpet of your truck will be soaked in rotting meat blood. $21 worth of it.

And let me tell you how good THAT smelled. Gah! My life is a joke sometimes. Literally.

Soaking shirt.
Soaking carpet.
What's next, guys?
Dare I ask?

At least we always have Grama (Millie's Nana) to make us smile!!
